So I have a confession. I don’t like brownies. I know don’t shoot me! I make them for Mr.Pinkcakeplate all the time and he loves them! I decided to try and come up with a brownie that I would actually like! Well I did I worked on this recipe and it is a total win! I am totally in love with these Milk Chocolate Brownies! I loved them so much I had to put my favorite chocolate frosting on them.
I think the reason I am not fond of brownies is because of the texture, they are usually more like fudge and if I want to eat fudge I will eat fudge! These Milk Chocolate Brownies are are a cross between a brownie and a sugar cookie! They are not too fudgy, and not too cake like so for me they are about as perfect as they can be! I cannot stop eating them!
Putting a nice layer of chocolate frosting on top is just what these milk chocolate brownies needed! I used my favorite frosting recipe, and of course I had to put sprinkles on them! These brownies are good without frosting as well! You decide frosting or no frosting!

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

- Mix the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well-blended. Add the chocolate-butter mixture, and mix until smooth.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and mix just until combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake 35-40 minutes, or until a pick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Top with favorite frosting,
Serve these with plenty of ice cold milk for a real treat!
