Are you planning on a day of shopping on Black Friday? Looking for something other than Turkey to eat for dinner? Do I have an easy Make Ahead Ravioli Bake recipe for you!! Layers of tomato sauce, cheese and La Romanella Ravioli. You will want to make 2 of these to keep one in the freezer! #ChooseSmart #CollectiveBias #shop
I have to tell you I love shopping at Smart & Final it has to be one of my most favorite stores to shop at. Of all the warehouse type stores this is my fav!!!
Now after a long day of shopping or just a long day at work the last thing I want to do is spend hours in the kitchen cooking!! I love “make ahead” meals. This Ravioli Bake is so easy and starts with some of my favorite La Romanella products! I even paired it with La Romanella 5 Cheese Garlic Bread! Yummm!!
You don’t even need to pre-cook the ravioli. It starts with a pound of ground beef cooked and then drain the fat off, allow to cool. Add in 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese and set aside.
I used a 5″x 7″x3″ glass dish and spread with 1/2 cup La Romenella Roasted Garlic pasta sauce on the bottom of the pan making sure to cover the whole bottom.
Take and place raviolis on top of sauce making sure ravioli are placed as close together as possible even if they touching.
You then place another layer of about anther 1/2 cup of sauce and then another layer of ravioli topping with another 1/2 cup of sauce.
Make sure to spread sauce over all of pasta to cover. Add your ground beef and cheese as the next layer and spread evenly.
Top with 1 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Then you start the layering again, ravioli, sauce, ravioli, sauce, cheese!!
Look at all those yummy layers!
Now what I did was cover this finished bake with foil and put it in the fridge until the next day. You could put this in the freezer and have it another day!! I chose to bake it for dinner the next day! Pop it in a 350 degree pre heated oven for about 30 minutes until it was hot and bubbly and the cheese had melted.
How delicious does that look??

I definitely need to make a few of these to keep in the freezer for those cold winter nights when I don’t want to cook… like every night. #client
