Have you been invited to a 4th of July party or BBQ and want a super quick treat to make and bring?? These last minute Red, White and Blue Blondies will make you a BBQ Rock Star!
I timed how long it actually took me to make these blondies and from mixer to oven it took me about 10 minutes! Baking time was just over 15 minutes so these took less than 30 minuets to make. Now cooling time will be about twice that time so make these in the morning and by the time you need to leave for your party they will be good to cut and go!!!
Another thing about these blondies is DO NOT over bake them. Using all brown sugar makes these dense and chewy over baking will rob the blondies of their chewiness making them hard and dry. No one likes a hard dry blondie!
You can also use different colored candy pieces and sprinkles to fit any occasion! I love that! Because you use all brown sugar in these blondies they have such a delicious butterscotch flavor and oh so chewy!! I love them!!
