We all know that I love to cook and Mr.Pinkcakeplate loves to eat as much as I do!! I came up with this recipe for a creamy chicken fettuccine with a kick!! Just a little bit of spice to Jazz it up!! I have been seeing this new Butter flavored Olive Oil and this is the perfect recipe to try it out on!!
I found this delicious Star Butter flavored Olive Oil at my local Walmart!! You wont find it anywhere else!!! I have to tell you this is delicious!! I had to taste it straight out of the bottle. It is yuuuuuuummmuy!! It has beautiful fruity undertones with the full rich buttery flavor!! Who doesn’t love butter?? And cooking with Olive Oil is healthier!! Gotta Love that!! Star Butter flavored Olive Oil is located with the other oils but look for the brightest bottle on the shelf and you have Star Butter flavored Olive Oil!
I also had the chance to grab the rest of my ingredients at my local Fry’s also know as Kroger!! I live so close to both of these stores its easy to shop at both of them!! I was lucky Kroger had Chicken Breast and tenderloins on sale for $1.99 a pound time to stock up!!!
This recipe is super easy! Simply saute bite size pieces of Chicken, garlic and onions in the Butter flavored Olive Oil, until the onions are translucent and chicken is cooked thoroughly. Add in spices, salt and pepper to taste. Then add the prepared sauce and cheese.
As the chicken is cooking prepare your pasta according to the package directions!! When chicken is cooked through add 15 oz jar of prepared Alfredo Sauce and stir until combined add in cheese and stir until it is melted. Drain pasta, place back in pan and pour chicken sauce over pasta stir until combined. Place in oven safe dish and sprinkle with 8oz Mexican shredded cheese and bake until melted and bubbly!!
Serve with yummy garlic knots or bread!!
