My family always does a gift exchange between all the younger cousins, it used to be one of my favorite things to do around the holidays. We would draw names when everyone was mostly together for Thanksgiving(proxy names were drawn for those who couldn’t make it), a limit has always been established & the wish list/interests would be figured out before the day was over.Unfortunately, we all get older & age out of fun present exchanges. Although, I guess that’s the point, to make it fun for the younger kids less for the adults :/ …

Each year we wrap 24 Christmas stories and put them under the tree. Then my daughter gets to pick one to unwrap and read every night as we countdown the days until Christmas Day. Even though it’s the same books year after year, she still loves that she can open a “present” every day!
